If you can see the plug-in in: Options -> Virus protection you've installed it properly. KE> How can i tell if Avtg really checks for viruses, other than KE> actually getting one? When I test my AV-settings, I send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with in the message body: send av-mail-test-a 1-8 What it does is sending you some mails with eicar test virus. It's a harmless code that's recognized by all virus scanners. The virus is differently coded in each message. (uuencoded, mime encoded, a zipped mime, etc) AVG finds them all on my system, though I'm using the AVG plug-in for Mailtraq, my mail server, so that the AVG plug-in for TB never gets anything. As long as I'm using AVG it's never failed me. -- Groetjes, Roelof ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
