With the quotes you can still extract the meaning of it as NJY> it clearly marks where the text ends. In the definition lies the solution. There is a simple fix to all of this that involves neither TB nor the web site author: This is process is handled by the defined mailto: handler as specified in the registry. All you have to do is to add delimiting quotes to the %1 parameter in the definition. Malformed Mailto links work perfectly if the definition of mailto is changed in the registry to enclose %1 in double quotes. Of course, it could be said that there is a bug in the TB install procedure that registers the mailto: handler <g>. - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator TB! v1.62 Beta/17 on Windows 2000 5.0.2195 Service Pack 2 ' -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1rc1-nr1 (Windows 2000) iD8DBQE96IkROeQkq5KdzaARAvNDAKCsWc4wEpOLCuv+1aUyVudHFmq5KwCg2avJ uLnvK6E4pyEajJlKG+TEwYA= =jzLF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
