FWIW, I had a similar issue when I upgraded my network and added a new
computer. The way that I got around this was to:
- uninstall TB from every machine on the network
- manually copy the AB's and message stores for each user to the
  correct folders
- set up the user profiles and ensure that each user had their mail in
  P:\Mail
- Reinstall TB on each machine, configuring it with default mail
  directory of P:\Mail

Because none of my users (myself included) have administrator
privileges, I had to create a "dummy" mail store for Administrator --
something you shouldn't need to do if you have Administrator privs.

Hopefully, you can set up things for yourself, change the mail folder,
then copy your wife's message stores and AB's to her mail folder. Of
course, you would also need to delete your wife's data from yours.

Another snag was that I had to enter the registration keys for TB! on
each machine for each user (that is, *nine* times) -- but I'd have had
to do that anyway (if licenses are per user, why can't TB record the
registration info in your profile?)

It took a while to set up, but was (IMO) well worth the effort.
