You're correct as TB! creates messages in plain text only not html.

You can, if you wanted to, compose an html page using a web design
program or even Notepad if you can write html (like a web page - with
all of the code to include background and pictures and fancy fonts
etc) and then attach it to your plain text message - the recipient
would see it as an attachment which could be viewed in its entirety
in their web browser.
