Greetings: I am making the transition to The Bat! from Eudora, and have two questions.
1. I have multiple accounts: two permanent addresses in the US and one in my current country of residence. For the account I use here (Uzbekistan currently) the reply-to is one of the US accounts. In Eudora, when I wanted to reply to a message, regardless at which address I received it, there is a drop-down list of accounts from which I select the outgoing address. Is there some way to do this in The Bat! or do I need to drag messages to the account from which I want to respond before replying? 2. I have my network administration set to manual connection. However, I had the accounts set to check mail every five minutes, and it then proceeded to do so whether the connection was open or not. Am I overlooking something or is this just a problem on my machine. (W2k.) (I sometimes had this problem in Eudora in the past, but not for the past couple of years.) Thanks for your assistance.
