The header 'Content-Type: multipart/alternative;' is specific for dual
formatted mail.
Unfortunately, once there's embedded graphics, sending the images with
the message, converts it to a multiple attachment message and the
content type is changed to 'Content-Type: multipart/mixed;'
I use my mailserver, MDaemon to strip attachments for messages with
the content type, 'multipart/alternative;'. In this way, I don't have
to keep the HTML version in my mailbases.
If the content is text/html, then I leave it alone since it's only
HTML format. If it's multipart/mixed;, I leave them alone since the
attachment may not be html.
