I pasted it into my text editor of choice, Edit Plus, without any problem. I deleted the original message, so I no longer have the url, or I would try pasting it into Notepad, but I can't imagine that once it's in the clipboard it wouldn't paste properly as text into anything that handles text per se. MS Outhouse is mainstream by default, as most don't S> know better, and there is much that is better (especially TB!)! Normally I'd agree with you, but my reading of the RFC is that grabbing the entire link between delimiters wouldn't explicitly violate it. BTW, even correctly formed subject links (spaces converted to %20s) aren't properly handled by TB. The subject line still stops at the first representation of a whitespace character. I'm also in the 'wary' category until it's been tested, but I can't think of a scenario where extending the limit would be a problem. -Mark Wieder Using The Bat! v1.63 Beta/4 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 2 -- ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
