No thats exactly what I meant!! Thanks. Hadn't even looked at the threading capabilities, so my apologies for my schoolboy error!. I was using Outlook 2000 and am a member of various groups, I just got used to replying to any old message and changing the subject line to suit my needs. I promise I will be more careful in the future.
The feature that really impresses me is the ability to move messages after reading, I have set up a sub-folder under each main folder to filter the read messages into, so much more organised now. Particulary for the windows powerpro group, which can get really swamped if you don't download every day!!
