Nope, since my Mac is too much outdated now to run OS X and I don't really need to upgrade it (I use it rarely). I'm still using MacOS 8.6 on it. > My back-up mailer is pine under unix (not Linux - if we do it right, > we do it on the CLI <g>). It's OK as it is, as a back-up mailer. Check out Mutt - in my personal opinion it's much more comfortable. > My first mailer was YARN under DOS - try that one and you know how > comfortable pine is! ;-) Well, I used to "mail" people in BBS-es on my Commodore 64 with a 1200 baud modem - talk about uncomfortable! 8]... >> - Eudora (look my comment on Mac) > You say it's unstable, I disagree. I hate the idea of having every mail in a different profile (I have at least 10 accounts). > I used both Eudora and Netscape in parallel until I found TB. Tow > things convinced me immeidately: 1.) Seperate handling of seperate > email accounts. 2.) Superb filtering system. I switched to TB! from Calypso because of the advanced features (Calypso is allright, but for example its message base storage system is very crappy - when Calypso crashes and you have a large message base, you need to wait something like 5 minutes for it to check the base!) and development options. At first I found TB!'s editor difficult to handle (the rest was fine), but now as I said - I don't see any reason to switch to anything more, as TB! clearly has the most options and is very easy to use in my opinion. -- tomasz 'tonid' nidecki, zoliborz, warszawa, poland mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://endemic.org http://mp3.com/tonid http://mp3.com/knownspace * tajwIj 'oHbe' chorlIj jeqbogh Dochvetlhe'e ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
