Nope, since my Mac is too much outdated now to run OS X and I don't
really need to upgrade it (I use it rarely). I'm still using MacOS 8.6
on it.

Check out Mutt - in my personal opinion it's much more comfortable.

Well, I used to "mail" people in BBS-es on my Commodore 64 with a 1200
baud modem - talk about uncomfortable! 8]...

Well, I've had many problems with its stability, really.

It just has too little flexibility. I hate the idea of having every
mail in a different profile (I have at least 10 accounts).

I switched to TB! from Calypso because of the advanced features
(Calypso is allright, but for example its message base storage system
is very crappy - when Calypso crashes and you have a large message
base, you need to wait something like 5 minutes for it to check the
base!) and development options. At first I found TB!'s editor
difficult to handle (the rest was fine), but now as I said - I don't
see any reason to switch to anything more, as TB! clearly has the most
options and is very easy to use in my opinion.
