My experience was made with PC-Cillin, maybe that's the difference.
Once I activate the Realtime Scan (which is the same as AMON in NOD),
any file with a virus that I attempt to save to disk or try to open,
will be quarantined. Apparently, NOD doesn't do that - and that would
mean a complete failure of the AMON.

But then, when I tested the AMON with the eicar virus, it worked. I
wonder whether you have really turned it on, as it fails to quarantine
the batxxxx.tmp files on your machine. Or have you excepted *.tmp
files? (I just saw this is possible with NOD.)
