Hello tbudl, I have a small network with five workstations, happily using TB for several years. Recently we've installed AVG Antivirus and have found out that a plug-in exists for TB. I am wondering how to install it.
Here's our situation. One workstation (let's call it "Frank") contains all mail folders and acts as a TCP/IP or Dial-out Server. The other workstations are set up in TCP/IP Workstation mode. Each workstation points to a copy of thebat.exe that physically exists on Frank. When you launch TB from workstation George, it reaches across the network and reads thebat.exe from Frank into George's RAM. I'm not sure, but I believe each workstation must have its own registry entries for TB. (???) So, here's the question. Do I need to install the AVG plug-in separately for each workstation? Or do I only need to install it on Frank? -- Best regards, Lee Using The Bat! v1.62i on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3 ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
