I don't think you can make this deduction unless the recovery was from an drive or partition image. See Martin's message at mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] about the MS patch 811493 which has been confirmed. Since the MS link is either invalid or the site down IIRC the patch slows applications on startup. I would suggest a complete wipe of ZA from Laurence's PC, and install another FW. When I upgraded my OS from Win98 to WinXP Pro and did a complete clean install using ZA my browser, IE, and TB slowed to a crawl. I wiped the HD & installed Kerio and my problem vanished immediately. I'm not saying ZA is the problem. Given my experience and others I would start with replacing ZA. I use to be a ZAP advocate from version 1 on, but it will be awhile before I even try it. Obviously from others posting positive experiences with ZA or ZAP, everyone seems to have their own opinion. -- Best regards, Greg Strong TB! v1.63 Beta/7 on Windows XP Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
