I don't think you can make this deduction unless the recovery was from
an drive or partition image.

811493 which has been confirmed. Since the MS link is either invalid or
the site down IIRC the patch slows applications on startup.

I would suggest a complete wipe of ZA from Laurence's PC, and install
another FW. When I upgraded my OS from Win98 to WinXP Pro and did a
complete clean install using ZA my browser, IE, and TB slowed to a
crawl. I wiped the HD & installed Kerio and my problem vanished
immediately.

I'm not saying ZA is the problem. Given my experience and others I would
start with replacing ZA. I use to be a ZAP advocate from version 1 on,
but it will be awhile before I even try it. Obviously from others
posting positive experiences with ZA or ZAP, everyone seems to have
their own opinion.
