To be precise it will cut anything beneath '-- ' because that's how a
valid signature delimiter is supposed to look like.

In the template you mentioned above there is no sig delimiter. Thus tb!
will not cut anything. It will not cut after two or any other number of
dashes. There needs to be a space after two dashes.

Your sig delimter is missing the space and therefore not working.
