Did you close The_Bat? and open Firebird and go to Tools/Options/General/Default Browser and hit the tabbed "Set as Default Browser?" When you installed Phoenix did you use the Installer version or just unzip Phoenix into a directory (as I do with Firebird and did with Phoenix) and create a shortcut icon and run it that way (no registry entries and total control of an uninstall simply by deleting the Firebird directory and the applicable C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Phoenix directory)? Did you utilize Windows Add/Remove Programs to uninstall Phoenix (if you installed Phoenix utilizing the installer version) prior to the install of Firebird? I could think of at least 4 reasons Firebird won't "stick" as your default browser (as it does here) but you'll have to answer a few questions first.
