Hallo Joe,

On Wed, 6 Aug 2003 14:19:32 -0500GMT (6-8-03, 21:19 +0200, where I
live), you wrote:

Use something common as filtering string, let's say '.' in 'kludges'
so every message hits the jackpot.
Now go to the 'Advanced' tab in the filtering string and scroll down
till you find 'message is older than' and 'message is newer than'
insert the appropriate number of days. To make things easy for you,
next Friday (8-8-03) is day 220 of the current year.

JC> 2. When I select a Mail Folder to see the messages in, what
JC> determines which message get the focus?

The last message you've read in the current folder is focused.
