This is off-topic, but it might be of interest to others, here, too.
It looks as though someone who had my e-mail address in their WAB (or
wherever Sobig looks for addresses) was infected with the worm.
Infected e-mails have been going out under my mailing list e-mail
address, mostly from one particular server. I thought the flurry would
die down, but it is continuing apace. I'm certain that it was not my
machine that redistributed the worm with my address. My main concerns
are (1) minimizing the risk that someone will blacklist my address,
and (2) minimizing the risk that this could happen again. I think that
there is nothing I can do to achieve either objective; is that
correct? I assume this must be a fairly common problem, but there just
doesn't seem to be anything I can do while my address is attached to
all these infected e-mails....
