I'm confused now about upgrades and TB versions-- just registered v1.62 on August 27. I was initially unaware they were asking another 50% for upgrade on Sept 1; by the time I caught on, my trial period was over and I had to register to access my mail. Anyway like an idiot I just downloaded version 2.0, somehow thinking I could have a look without disrupting my current version. No. Well I tried to enter my 5-day old registration code. Did not compute.
So, can I go back to my previously registered 1.62 now that 2.0 has installed overtop? Will I have to pay after 30 days to access my mail again? I'm sorry but can't help resenting the cost of an upgrade after such a short time. What are my options...? Poor me: just want a decent, reliable, elegant mail program like The Bat without too much hassle or feeling like I've been "had". (BTW I'm also torn between frustration with TB and admiration that they actually released 2.0 on schedule. :-)) Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated. -- Pat A Frustrated Canadian in Houston 9/1/03 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.00 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
