Hi Blasters (Bat list users), May I be so bold as to suggest a discussion on spam plugins? There has been much traffic on the subject, and I have been following it, but there hasn't been much good, decipherable info. Some download links have not worked, other have, but link to progs that haven't worked, or seem to be in pre-alpha stages of development at best.
The following questions are what I'm particularly interested in, and I'll bet many others would find the answers to be quite helpful too. Are there any free Bayesian plugs that work? Links? Those of us who are using a spam plugin, which are you using? How does it compare to others? free/how much? Links? Should I expect to have to pay for a decent spam Plugin? Personally, I would prefer something that simply sorted incoming mail to different folders (e.g., inbox vs. spam folders), as opposed to blockers that don't download mail at all. Until a certain level of trust develops between me and my plug, I'd like the chance to look over it's shoulder. Perhaps a vote on the best plugin?
