I am pleased you started this thread; it saved me from doing it. Like you, I
have been reading the numerous discussions on Spam plug-ins and the discussions,
for me, have raised more questions than they have answered.

So I welcome a discussion regarding Spam plugins and whether they are safe to
use and aren't spyware. I am certainly not saying that any of anti-spam plugins
or software are spyware, just that I am aware spyware exists and that I do not
wish to use anything that compromises my privacy or jeopardises our computer network.
