Yes, it is definitely something that seems to be associated with v.2.

Well, before you give up completely, would you consider saving all
your data to an external place, like a CD or a floppy, and then
completely uninstalling the current v. 1.62--which may have picked up
v. 2's bad habits re your machine during the installation over
v.2--and doing a fresh download and install of v. 1.62?

I hate for you to lose an e-mail client that was working so well for
you, and which you and others on Rootsweb's Computers-List helped
shepherd me into, and which you have since helped me to enjoy, with so
much good advice.

Ain't it so!! Want to go to London with me next spring? I'll be
turning just one year shy of age 78 then. :)
