I think I figured out what your template is doing. If I change %Quotes to %Text in my top-posting QT, I can achieve what you are describing. This does leave out the quote delimiters (>) but I guess I can't have everything... I certainly don't want to attempt a regex template that inserted multi-leveled quote marks. ;) Still... (I can't let it go...) the behavior of TB's selective quoting still baffles me.
