Hello TBUDL, I am confused as to how to synchronize two versions of The Bat!. Given two computers A and B. Computer A is the good, up to date version and Computer B is the computer that needs updating. Is the way I show it below correct.
1). Creation of data file - This is created on computer B and is basically a backup of the what is on this computer. (Creates File called CompB.tb1) 2). Storing synchronization data for the second copy - This is done on Computer A, by pointing to the file created in Step 1 (CompB.tb1). This could be done by selecting the file if the two computers are connected or by copying the file created in Step 1 (CompB.tb1)to Computer A if they are not connected. (This then creates a file that contains the differences between the two versions. (Diff.tb2) 3). Import of synchronization data from the first copy - You now open The Bat! on Computer B and use this step to open the file created in Step 2. (Diff.tb2) Is this the gist of it or am I getting it messed up? -- Best regards, Stuart mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.01.56 on Windows 98 4.10 Build 2222 A ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.01.3 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
