Ah, but now it works! I think the editor has the same behaviour after the
cut mark line as after any other line, but TB knows not to trim trailing
spaces (or at least one) if you put it on the line. It's not very clear I
know, but it seems to work if you put a space at the end of that line
(either in your template or in the message itself) and then don't do
anything like press the end key.
