You are correct. But the result with view modes is not predictable, the view mode settings are not respected or sometimes saved properly. Here a some examples: - selected columns are no longer selected or size down to 0 - column size wider then defined, yet they come back to the correct size after going into the view mode editor and clicking on OK to exit, without making changes.
