I don't use Toolbars on anything other than Editor windows.

I run all Windows maximized.  I hate little tiny portals on data.

I prefer Tabbed interfaces (which the Windows Taskbar qualifies as
being).

I avoid split windows.  I tolerate the Folder list in the same window
as the Message list, because the Folder list is very simple, and so
can live in a small window.
