Nevetheless, the problem lies in The Bats handling of the certificates. Either, they use self signed certs, or they have their own CA, like the Humbold-CA (this seems to apply here as well), or they have DFN-Certs. Unfortunately, The Bat really handles them badly[1] :) It seems that it doesn't understand the supplied certificate.
