Yes, this is a common problem. KG> Anyway, with Becky, switching over to the dial-up account was really KG> easy. I'm wondering how people handle this kind of thing with The KG> Bat. Or is something like profiles planned for a future release? You could handle it in one of two ways. - use your own mailserver with SMTP capabilities. This isn't as daunting as it seems and could save you a lot of headaches or introduce advantages you hadn't thought about. - use a little application called XRay <http://www.xrayapp.com/xray/xray.shtml> You can configure it to use a particular SMTP server depending on the IP address assigned to your machine. Each ISP uses a particular IP block to assign member connections. With knowledge of the IP blocks you can configure XRay to use a particular SMTP server when connected to a particular ISP. One is that you'll have to send using that account so copies of messages will be placed in that account's sent folder. Of course, your could use outgoing filters to rectify that glitch. :) I also think the Account macro will over-ride the From identity you are using in the message and set it to that of the account. No. You can only change the account used to send. -- -= allie_M =- | List Moderator PGPKeys: http://key.ac-martin.com ____________________________________ Using SB! Lite v2.03.47 on WinXP Pro (SP1)
