For folders with messages those files are bigger, depending on the number of messages. When the messages.* files indicate that your messages aren't dropped into the eternal mail bucket there's still hope. Close TB (don't let t purge 'n compress any folder) Copy the full directory tree with your message base to someplace safe Delete the messages.tbi file for one of the problem-folders.
