Yes, you have made yourself clear now.

What you did was to click on the far left of the toolbar and then drag
it out of the window. To re-dock it, when the toolbar is floating,
click and hold on the title bar. The border will become darker. Then
move the tool bar until it is under the menu. The border will become
thin. Release your mouse button. Tada! The toolbar is back.
