You can call yourself what you want and use whatever addresses you need to use. Just set up extra accounts as you need them. Oh yes - the cut mark uses simple "minus" sign dashes, two of them, followed by a space and a new line. Two underscores look okay but don't work. Work? Any cut mark is used to automatically trim off anything that appears after it when replying. That's why it's needed. *Especially* when you use webmail, which inflicts its own signatures on your message.
