Hi Thomas & Miguel, Thanks for your response(s). At 2:23 PM on Friday, April 30, 2004 it seems Thomas posted the following to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in regards to Uread Message Tab:
> I disagree. It is easy for me to just click the unread tab. I was > advised earlier that I create create a virutal foder that does the > same. I choose the tab. IMO, not too much easier than <ctrl>right which takes you from one un-read msg to the next un-read msg. In addition, as you say, you can create a folder that will allow you to click on a tab that will provide a view of *only* msgs that are un-read. JR>> Personally, I wish RIT would make it an option or excise it. > > It is indeed an option. Main menu: View / Folder Tabs. Indeed, it is not. The option that you refer to is an all or nothing choice. I do use & like the tabs & use them daily. I just think the concept of a tab that represents folders that have un-read msgs within them is silly since they are clearly visible. & Miguel wrote in response to my comment: >> In which case & IMHO it's kinda silly, annoying & useless, >> considering one can easily set up a folder to grabs all unread msgs >> from all folders that excludes all other msgs, making it easier to >> read. > Not that silly for someone like me, with 10 accounts and 496 > folders :) Can't say that I have that many accounts or folders but I can see what folders have un-read msgs in them just by looking @ the folder outline & I can jump from un-read msg in one folder to an un-read msg in another folder w/o having to scroll within a folder. Sorry, I just don't get it. I wish I did. It just seems like this function (which could be useful with a filter option) belongs in the department of redundancy department. :-) Take care. -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA TB!
