One has a list of all folders with unread messages, no matter how deeply buried in the account list tree, with enough context to be able to see the whole thread. Since we don't (thankfully) leave long quotes of whole threads, it is often helpful to be able to move around for context. It is also good that it is now possible to create a virtual folder of unread messages without being tied to how one treats the mail ticker, and that it even resides in the unread tab. VFs and the unread tab are both, IMHO, very useful additions. -- Dwight A.
