It's been quite a while since I subscribed and I can't remember if a
confirmation message requiring a response is sent when subscribing to
TBUDL. Could this be a way to stop new registrations from RFM? Also, a
friendly note on the subscriptions page? Moreover, isn't there something
you can do with Mailman? Just thinking out loud...
