Hi all,
I'm currently trying IMAP, so am running an exact copy of my POP mail on IMAP. Obviously this causes twice as much mail as I'd like :-)
With this taken into account, I've decided that I'm going to create a few filters. For my POP mail, I'm just going to move all mail to an archive.
But for IMAP, things are going to be a bit more complicated ;-)
I'd like to create some filters that run across the IMAP folders and based on date, move the messages from the server to my local folders that are in the same structure to that of IMAP.
Now unless I'm mistaken, the only way this can be done is to create individual filters for each folder that then move the messages from the IMAP server to the local folders. These will then need to be run, 1 by 1 and depending on number of folders, may well take some time :-(
Am I correct in my theory above, or does someone here know of a way of improving this process?
FYI - I use PowerPro, so suspect this may be of assistance. -- Cheers,
Chris.
