And the field below, "Enable opening of these files without any alert" includes .doc and .jpeg. Additional information: In Options/Preferences/General I have always had the box for "Use external viewer to open attached images" unticked. So just now I ticked it. That setting also brings no response from an attachment icon. Further ideas?
