Hello Mike, Are you talking about using the same laptop computer from home and from work? If you have two computers on permanent internet connections, I am not sure you need synchronization. I run two instances of TB, one at home, and one at work, both on always-on internet connections, and I did not have to fiddle with TB's IMAP settings to get it to work. If you are indeed talking about using the same laptop computer in both places, I am not sure why connecting from two places instead of one would make any difference, as it should behave the same as if you synchronized from one location, unplugged the computer, then plugged it back in later and synchronized again.
