A fellow subscriber sent me a hint--she thought I might be accidentally hitting the columns-headings when changing messages. She sent this by PM. I replied to her that the difficulty was not while changing messages in the folder message listing but changing folders' focus on the account tree. Still, she told me something I didn't know: When you click on the column heading, it sets the View to that column's heading. I tried that. I got an access violation, but I was able to close that warning window--and despite the AV, the setting changed to From. So then I clicked on the Received column heading and the View changed to Received. I looked at the drop-down view menu. Whatever the column heading changed my View setting to, also appeared in the drop-down menu. *And* ta-da! My problem is solved. Because the View/Sort by settings remain stable when they are set from the column headings. Is this a bug? I can't get an account at Bug Traq. If this is a bug and any of you can confirm it, would someone report it for me, please? -- Best regards, Mary :Mary: The Bat! 2.12.00 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.12.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
