alt-0238 is lowercase i, "EYE" not o... lowercase o is alt-0248

maybe someone else knows the answer??

what we see is the correct characters in the reply window, in the quoted
text, yet when we view the original message you sent, they are wrong.
seems as though the character set is wrong for the message viewing
window, but I can't seem to get one that shows the correct characters.
