As nearly as I could understand the thread, it was about the Check
Mail aspect--a person with several accounts wanted to disable check
mail across all the accounts without doing so individually, and be
able to re-enable it quickly.

So I guess the subject line is misleading here.

Although, in case I misunderstood the thread, I'm really glad you set
this info out again. :)
