Subject: Help with TB files
===8<==============Original message text===============
Thanks a lot. There are two problems I need to solve:
1) Problems with restoring a backup file
2) Problems to send my mail to TB forum
Please ask the following to the forum in my name:
I have been using TB 1.62 since last year, when I went to ADSL connection.
The lst version was 1.62r, used under Windows 98se. The directories of one
account were imported from Eudora.
About mid year I started getting "corrupt files" messages on one directory,
the main one called "Inbox". But the restore operation seemed to work fine.
As I use to backup all my main HD on an emergency HD, in case of failure, I
started to get worried if something might happen.
Then I started to get more "corrupt" messages on other directories. And then
the restore operation ceased to work. It restored my other two accounts
messages, but not the main one. My concern started to become serious.
Mails to support got me no answer, which I think is unacceptable.
Last week the disaster: my Windows crashed and now I can't restore at least
my last tbk file.
So I ask: is there a way to manually restore the directories on a clean TB
installation? How?
Thanks!
Carlos E. Martinez
