Thanks for the ideas -- my responses interleaved.

ISP is still the same and the connection is still the same. The Web mail
SMTP is its messaging engine and the local account SMTP is the ISP's POP
server. Neither will send. AFAIK, the ISP hasn't changed any of its
servers (or it should have let me know). I've asked their tech support,
and get the usual "You're using *what*? Never heard of it!"

I tried this and didn't have any success. I'm just buffaloed and very
frustrated. Anyone have any further thoughts?
