Sorry folks, it's all rather too much for this simple Kiwi. Turning smilies off and heading for MicroEd. I'll come back when a smilie can be easily invoked via a toolbar button or something.
Please don't let's loose sight of the fact that The Bat! is a fantastically powerful and rock solid email client. I know the people who use it tend to be reasonably tech minded, but I'm getting so confused about this whole smilie thing that I've just gotta back off and get on with using it for what it was intended in the first place. Please, I don't mean to criticise, and I am impressed with the obvious knowledge and great camaraderie (is that spelt right I wonder?) of everyone here. But, in the end I have found smilies a little frustrating, and perhaps that is because of my limitations technically. It's a great discussion my friends, and I have followed it with interest, and will continue to do so, but I'll bow out of trying to use the things until they get just a little more user friendly. Kind thanks to everyone who answered my questions as I struggled to get it sorted. -- Peter in New Zealand. ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.12.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
