Have just purchased version 3 (probably against my better judgement,
but one can only hope things get better - right? <grin>).

I decided on a completely clean set-up and once again encountered the
problem of connection problems (see my previous posting to TBUDL about
this) via POP3 when I set-up my second POP3 account. The Bat! just
hung when "Checking the number of messages.." and I couldn't abort or
delete the task. The only way out was to use Task Manager to kill the
whole thing. I tried turning off TLS/secure connections, changing the
authentication types to Regular and so on. Nothing would fix it.

I've since discovered that the ONLY way around the problem was to log
in via webmail and delete all of the messages (637) from that account.
The Bat! seemed happy with that and I can now check my second POP3
account again. And it's receiving new messages just fine now.
However, I should have had to do that.

Another problem - tried to import Outlook 2003 messages and The Bat!
happily created the folders but didn't actually import any messages.
Needless to say I've sent in a Bug report via the Help -> Feedback
option on both occasions.

Regards,

        Martyn
