Problem is fixed. I didn't have anything in the folder yet so I just
deleted it (from Windows Explorer). Created the folder (via folder
menu). Then created the filter. I think I tried the "create folder if
needed" check box on the filter properties the first time. I'll have
to try it again to see if it's reproducible.

Anyway thanks for the reply and also the looks of the filter
properties are greatly improved now!!!
