Hello experts,

I am trying The Bat! Home Edition 3.0. Now I found a
problem. Some
e-mails are in Chinese.

In earlier versions, the subject line could show
Chinese characters in
viewer window as well as in message list window
although in RFC-822
headers such characters as "=?gb2312?B?x+8gwOs=?="
showed up.

In this new version, in some accounts, Chinese still
can be shown.
However, in other accounts, Chinese characters could
not be shown
correctly in the subject line in the viewer window
although they are
shown in RFC-822 headers and in the message list
window. This not only
happens in subject line, but in from and to line. All
Chinese were
replaced with "?". Strangely, when I save the message,
Chinese subject
can show up. But those "?" are very annoying.

I do not know if appropriate to send the attachment to
the list. I
have two screenshots. But I did not send.

Could anyone tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks
in advance.
