Hi, I need to set up a common filter that checks all incoming emails against a certain
list of conditions and takes two actions:

(a) moves the email to a designated folder, and

(b) forwards/re-directs the email to another address.

I can do the first part without any problem and almost have the second part figured,
however....what I want to do is this: leave the desktop PC running all the time and
checking my mail at various intervals depending on the account (some are checked once
per day, others every hour, etc). When I am away from the desk/office, I use a
handheld and mobile to access my email, but I only want to get important emails there
with no attachments, but I do sometimes want to reply to these emails. As it stands,
any forwarding I do from The Bat! changes the from: and reply to: headers and also the
to: header.

As an example: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> sends me an email to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. I have
that set up to be filed in a certain folder and also to be copied to my mobile email
address of <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Currently what I get is an email from <[EMAIL
PROTECTED]>, to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and if I were to reply to it, it would go back to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Does that make sense? I am basically after having my mobile email address added to all
incoming emails as a BCC.....

Anyone ever tried to do this? Any hints?

Bryan Anderson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
