But back to your spam topic - I find that spam filters that work only with black- and whitelists provide good results, BUT! ...they are slow (because each and every mail has to be checked against one or more DNS blacklists), unless they have an "auto-whitelist" feature (which only SpamPal has, to my knowledge) that will at least skip the test for genuine mail addresses. Nevertheless - IMO black-/whitelist checking is on the way out, as any Bayes filter (either running as local proxy like SpamPal with the Bayesian plugin, K9 or PopFile or being a plug-in to TB like BayesFilter and BayesIT) provides much better results after a short "training period". Depending on the implementation, it will still be (noticably) slower than checking mails without any filter, of course.
