Actually, from where I sit, I see a yellow circle with a checkmark in
it.

The text file isn't the signature file (TB doesn't show that), but the
list footer. The list server (like most list servers) isn't able to
attach footers to the body of messages that have attachments. That's a
good thing too, since adding text to the message would invalidate the
signature.
