Hello Anthony! On Saturday, October 23, 2004, 8:29 AM, you wrote:

I understand this now, partly, from the replies of others to this thread. However, I see 29 lines only when I view a message in the Specials/View Source menu of "View Folder TBUDL." When I view this message from you in "View Folder TBUDL" by selecting your message from the Message List, I see only one Message ID in the header line "Follow-up," which is what The Bat! calls References in later versions of TB! (from about v. 2.xx on). Only when I am Replying, using the "Edit Mail Message" window do I see multiple References (Message IDs) on the Follow-up line in the Headers displayed in this window. And there, I see only two, followed by an ellipsis: ... Like this: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> AGA> Each reference line looks like this: AGA> =?UTF-8?B?DMODwqfDgsK/w4LCvwQgICAgICAgICAgIMODwqDDg+KAmCAoNCAgIMOCwr/Dgw==?= So, I'd like to know: Are you reading all your messages using The Bat!/View Folder/Specials/View Source (F9) ? Or do you have 29 message ID headers listed in View Folder Headers/Follow up? That's the point at which I am still confused. I don't see a problem when I read my messages by selecting from the Message List in the folder. And I think it is good to have the chain of messages show in View Source, for ID purposes as well as--in the way mentioned by Roelof--to keep threading happening properly. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.0.2.1 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
