Hi! I'm new to this list, and I apologize for the denseness that brings forth such a question, and just so it gets covered, I am using gmail on the web for this list, as I would rather maintain this lists' messages on a server I can easily check from anywhere.
There is one particular thing that I would like to be able to do, concerning TheBat, and I don't know if it's possible. I do know that it's an issue of personal preference that others may not agree with. Anyway... I would like for all messages that come from me, from any account, to any person, whether it is a new message, a reply, a forward, or a redirect, to have a "to" line that doesn't contain the name...only the email address. I know that this can be done, for individual contacts or groups, in the address book, but is there a way to set this as a global setting, from the beginning? Is this done with a template? One way this comes up, which I am trying to avoid, is with replies to mailing list messages, where the reply address might show up as, e.g., "John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>". Again, the main thing is that I want to be able to set this once, not each time, or for each person or list, when I want it to occur. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide this new user! With peace, Henry -- Henry L. Lefkowitz [EMAIL PROTECTED] When all that you feel are sharp teeth of an eel, that's a moray. ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
